UNFORGETTABLE LOCATIONS: Vienna

Vienna is a unique city rich in history, music and cultural. The city is one of our Director Kristy Unger favourite destinations, as she has family ties to Austria and loves to visit the city often. We have been fortunate to work on numerous hospitality projects in Vienna over the years. Our favourite time to visit Vienna is late spring as the weather is ideal and Vienna in bloom is lovely to experience. Vienna offers so much to explore and see, here are some of our favourite ways to see the city…

Eat + Drink

There are endless dining options in Vienna, some of our favourites are Figlmüller for schnitzel, Hotel Sacher for a refined dining experience, Skopik & Lohn for traditional Viennese with a twist, Demel for cakes and coffee, and of course the amazing veganista vegan icecream which has to be tested.

Do

Plan a trip to Vienna at Christmas time, when it is most enchanting. The Christmas markets are filled with trinkets, local food and of course Glühwein and rum punch to keep you warm on a cold evening.

Days out

A trip to Schönbruun is highly recommended, it’s and exquisite palace with opulent interiors and beautifully manicured gardens.

If you enjoy wine and cycling as much as we do, we suggest a visit to the easternmost state of Austria, Burgenland. With a variety of fantastic vineyards on offer and the stunning Neusiedler lake, which is perfect for long cycles around or day boat adventures.
